I started a thread a while ago on this. A simple search would save this board a ton of bandwidth.

i have found the mobil 1 mx4t for 11. a quart. thats the cheapest i have seen, at the dealership its more in the range of 14. a quart i like to spend about 30 bucks for the oem kawasaki filter, and oil combined.. i use oem filters thats just me though. i havent tried k&n or fram or any of those. i went to MMI, the always told us to use oem filters, but everyone has a different opinion. and running a fully synthetic used to be the way to go in jap bikes cause of the tighter clearences as opposed to american machinery and synthetics being too damn slick, but now im hearing from local techs that semi synthetic is the way to go. who knows, i dont know.. lol

I use the oem filter as well but with the full exhaust I have most after market filters will not fit, like Scotts.

Mine is going in for work on wed and I will ask about oil again just to see what they say, it is the same place that recommended the motul to me that I have been using.

1 is a track bike and the other is a street bike I take to the canyons and not that I am a bad *** or anything but I push it and definitely not cruising at 4k if you know what I mean.

I am by no means as good a rider as ole Zachery lol
