Councilman peter vallone jr. from queens (D) is trying to get a bill past called proposition 416-a, it's targeted to all motorcycles pipes. His attempt was to pass the bill without the publics knowing. The bill is unlawful. He claims that the pipes decibal level is above epa standards and he wants to penalize the motorist with hefty fines starting at a outlandish one thousand dollars for first offense and the second offense will be two thousand five hundred and your motorcycle will be confiscated.what the coucilman is not aware that as a comsumer we shouldnt be held liable to such extreme punisment. He claims it disturbs the quality of life we say it safes the lifes of unaware people. ex: driving,crossing against the light.not being seen by other motorist pipes will notify our presents. this is just a brief notification . Help me and others to prevent this bill from passing. pass the word NO TO 416-A TALK TO YOUR LOCAL COUNCIL PERSON MAKE THEM AWARE OF THIS BILL.

LOUD PIPES SAVES LIVES!

 

that's a stupid bill they are trying to pass there. I know in a few other states they can ticket you for loud exhaust on cars and bikes. But that's only when you have done something to get pulled over for not just because your pipes are to loud.
I guess they councel men in NY have never rode a bike before and might not even have a car so they think they can make Ny a quieter city. That is almost inpossible if you ask me due to how many people that live there and all of the car's, trucks , motorcycles, and other motoroperated stuff that is in the city.

 

i was going to get a pinebox or just strait pipe my 636 this summer because of the cops here. and in my defence officer, how is that you let 15,000 harley's ride strait through town and then you pull me over. law suit for profiling i can feel the money now

 

well maybe not profiling but at the very least discrimination

Yea I was just going to say that most of the Harley bikes that I have heard and seen even in my town are way louder that my Muzzy.........I think.
