yesterday i went and checked out a 94 kinja, with 30k miles on it and its was 1500 bucks, i bought iot! my first bike, its the 600cc one, the guy told me it was a touring bike also but its still the sport bike, he siad the touring part is softer suspension and stuff liek that, what model exactly did i get, he took all the stickers off and did some body work to it?

 

Welcome, pictures of the bike would help here. Also check and see if the manufacture plate that is located on the fork ot front of the frame should list model and year.

I am 99% sure that you got a Ninja ZX-6, not the ZX-6R model, the ZX-6 is sold as a Sport-Tourer. I had a 91 ZX-6 and it was great, 14,000 rpm redline - very comfortable seat for two - very reliable - fast - fun - and inexpensive. I sold mine for $1200 with 44,000 miles so you got a pretty good deal.

Yesterdays (Pre 03) Ninja ZX6R Supersport is Todays Sport Tourer (ZZR600). Who knows what will be considered a Sport Tourer in a couple of years; Our 636's?

 

does anybody know where i can find anymore info about this bike? i cant seem to find anything about it! i want pictures and technical specifications about it but i cant find anything!

When I had my old Ninja, I ordered a book from www.mcreports.com and it is a collection of all the publications on any specific bike from Cycle World to Sport Bike etc... Along with specs and technical data, all for about $20. It was a great resource and cool to see the comparisons it won against the other big 3 manufacturers.
