Stock 15/40 is what I'm running. Really don't want to get a bigger rear sprocket because I don't want to lose my top-end. It's plenty quick & fast enough for me on the low end.

Mine doesn't have the exhaust valve so the Back-Pressure isn't variable on my 03. Only the 05-06's have the valve. I have Race Cams, Race ECU, PCIII and mine pulls strong from around 6K. I just installed another Race ECU with a different program and man, what a difference. The bike actually has some grunt down low now and crazy midrange compared to before. I haven't opened her up yet but she feels a lot more powerful. The timing must be advanced more. I am doing 70 MPH at 7K RPM andshe wants to run like a race horse. I haven't even installed the BMC air filter yet; still have the stock one. I can just imagine the top-end on this now. Gotta get my Speedo Healer installed so I can get an accurate MaximumTop Speed.
how are u runnin stock gearing and at 70 mph u are at 7 rpm and i am at 6500 rpm and i am doing 75 mph with -1 +2 gearing, i guess u are in 6th gear when u read that mph and rpm

Yes, I am in 6th but your speedo is wayoff due to your gearing change. Mine is slightly off. You need to get a Speedo Healer and I need to install mine.

i figured with my gearing i would be runnin alot more rpm's than u are stock, so with the -1 up front it's not reading the same, and if i go bigger like a 45t will it read lower or higher than it it's showin now

With a bigger rear or smaller front sprocket, your RPM's will be higher in each gear at the same speed. So if my bike (stock gearing) is showing 70 MPH at 7K RPM, I am actually doing approximately65 MPH. I'll try to get my Speedo Healer installed asap and get my speedo corrected. It's a pain trying to figure out how fast or slowI am actually going.

No, they are the same for the 03-04 636's. The ZX6RR are a little shorter geared. The 05-06 636's are taller geared because they have a 15/43 stock sprockets.
