oh and PS dont listen to these guys, dont trust any tires except michelin pilot powers, they are the best and they will allways be the best. your life depends on your tires, dont get something cheap.

HAHAHAHA, strong statement. But any set of tires under $400 is cheap, does not mean that they are not worth considering though. The rider and setup are key to that.

ok i was reading this article in BIKE magizine i think and it says do not go on what everyone else says for tires you could like one tire and another person could like another. so try some out and find out what you like. oh yeah if you want a good track day tire go with metzler k series the go from K-0 threw k-3 for soft to hard. but i wouldnt recommand these if there is any kind of rain they are just like the parillis that have a mostly slick outter side but these wont last long. so it really depends on you and what your going to do

problem is most of us don't have 1000 bucks to try out 4 different sets of tires. i've had unbelievable traction with my pp. esp with the wet. you don't know how many people think i'm fing crazy b/c it can be raining decently and i'll cruise at 75-80 mph. i think the qualifers are = to the PP. I haven't tried them yet but what i've heard is all good. another note is heatup time. the pp are sticky from the get go. say its 40 outside, i can go start my bike let it warm up, pull out in the street and wheelie immedatly. i usually go easy on them for the first mile or 2 just to make sure they are up to temps before hitting the twisties, but when its hot outside, there good to go anytime. my cousin had tried the perilli's and he liked them..until he got a set of pp.
