So i was riding yesterday and i pull up to a light. and the bikes reving all high, like 4 grand. so i kill it and start it back up. and the FI light is on.. its not comming off. and the bikes running liek ****. completly dogged. no power at all. i notice when i turn the key to the on position it makes the normal priming noise... followed by some wierd grinding noise.

 

I have the same problem. Think its the TPS sensor. Take it to the stealership and find out. should be under warranty. I havent had a chance to take mine yet as im waiting for another part and the stealership is 120 miles away.

 

If your's is an 05/06, the exhaust valve could be binding. make sure that there isn't anything restricting the movement of the cables under the seat.

 

On mine thats not the case. there is a sensor on the frame that is making the clicking....under the tank....sounds just like what marcus was saying

I wanna get at all that electrical **** under the tank, where are the bolts to remove the top portion of the gas tank??

 

guess my question is... is the tank all one piece ? or is it 2 like it looks like??

 

its a 2 piece. theres 1 bolt on each side, one up front and the one in the back.

 

wat brand of exhuast do you have??

 

mine did it with stock exhaust
