New to motorcycles, and found a good deal..so i think
Hey, im very new to motorcycles and i have been looking to buy one for over a month...But recently i was offered a perfect condition ninja for $700
It was a family friend so i truct that he takes care of it, he states:
Its a 1992 Kawasaki Ninja 600
13k miles
Never drives it, but he changes oil when date is up using synthetic oil
Says it fires right up
Jet black paint job
So with that said...can any of you give me insight on the 1992 Ninja 600 and whether its worth $700 and good for a beginner

Sh%t buy it. 600 is maybe a bit big for a first bike but just take it easy. The ninja was always a kick *** bike. Check the tires for dry rot and the brake lines if it has been sitting for a while. Don't trust the servicing, I would change the oil and all the fluids ASAP.
Go take the MSF ridding instruction, get your license and above all have fun ridding.

I think its not a bad buy as well, i sold my 88 ninja 750r for $2500.00 and paid only $2000.00 for it 2 years ago. So i think its a good deal.
Just out of curiosity, is that guy slow? You dont change oil to time, you change it to miledge. I have tons of friends that are mechanics, and i get my oil changed in my Mitsu eclipse about once a year or longer. I never put miles on it. But i agree, change all the fluids in it before riding!

Sounds like a good deal to me. My man got a 91 dropped with 16k on it and some light mods for $1000
I got for my first bike a 1989 mint, custom paint, and so on with 18k miles for $1500, sold it a year later for $1200

Most pull through oil change shops (i.e. Valvoline, jiffylube) always put a date and a mileage. Your oil does get dirty sitting in an engine over a period of time.
