New Exhaust... now Fuel injecter warning light??
Just recieved the suervo stop from Muzzy late last night. Hopeing I can get some input befor I try to put this thing on.
They state in the directions that it's very important to mark where the pulley was mounted and do not start the bike after you have removed it. I'm assumeing because you can miss aline the suervo stop when putting it on.
Well I didn't mark anything and I have started the bike a couple of times, showing off the new exhaust. I'm wondering is this going to be a problem? Or I'm I going to have to play around with the aliment for a while befor I get it on right?

i think you turn the key on and then it centers itself, then you turn the key off and it closes the valve upon start up. not sure if you do it with the key on or off. call muzzys, they know for certain. i had to call them for a buddy but i forgot the procedure.
i played around with this when i was installing my exhaust, and the servo will just drive one way if nothings conneected to it. i was careful to return it to the same starting point after i shut off the bike. its meant to drive till it hits one stop, then drive the other way to center itself. thats what the fi light fix does, stop the servo like it was connected to the valve normally. if you haveen't been returning the servo to its original spot after each startup, you could be finding it hard to get that light to shut of with the fix brackets inplace. i will see if i can find a picture of where the servo is suppose to be when connected with cables, and hopefully that may help you install your fi light fix brackets correctly.
I figuared out what the the suervo stop actually does. I think you put it perfectly in that it needs some thing to stop it from spining in both direction. Pretty simple once you look at it. It turns out there is a little nick mark on the top of the surevo shaft, and the Stop can only go on two different ways, with the tick mark pointing to the right or to the left. You can turn the the shaft by toggleing the ignation from the on and off position until it is line up in the perfect mounting position. Thanks for all the input guys. I bet some one could DIY project for the surevo stop. IMP it's not worth the $60.00 I paid Muzzy. But hey fuel injector lights off, bike runs good and I'm loving the exhaust.
