New to bikes, just bought 03 zx-6r, need sliders?
I am getting the bike today and before I start riding I would like to buy sliders. There are so many out there everytime that I do a search on any forum. I just need clarifictation, I should not get the "No Cut" sliders because they are not as strong.
Which brands offer the Cuts sliders that are very good.
Ive read Vortex, Woodcraft, etc. Can someone with an 03 zx-6r please chime in?
Thanks

www.woodcrafters.com www.motovationusa.com I have a 05 636 . I used the ' cut ' style heard to many bad things about the ' no cuts ' to feel comfortable with them .I have the motovation usa sliders on mine ..I was surprised when I opened them at how sturdy they appeared . I was torn between the woodcrafters and the motovations .I do not believe I could have went wrong with either of them .Thankfully I have not had to use them ...............yet
Called a local MOtorcycle shop, says Pro-tek is one of the best on the market. Also says everything that people say about the "No Cuts" is "Bull****".
I need someone with an 03 to chime in because there are many that say 03-04 zx-6r require no modification.

Had 'em on my 04 w/ no cutting and have 'em on my 05 now w/ no cutting. I went down on my 04 and they SAVED my plastics. Period, so I have personal crash testing on them and they worked beautifully.
I have no cut LSL sliders. I got rear ended pretty good. I had no damage to my frame, tank, or upper plastics. The sliders did their job well.
I've got an 03 636 with the Vortex Frame Sliders on mine. They've got the spool with the replacable puck and they mounted great with no modification or cutting required.
Not a great pic unfortunately, but you can see them sort of...
