no. its a german plate, or specifically, european union.

will the cops really give you trouble for a blue non-flashing underbody kit?
i don't know if the polezei will or not.

in america yes, red and/or blue neon/LEDs are illegal basically, you can only use them when parked. so riding down the road with blue leds would = pulled over and ticketed in the states

Any color in most places is illegal. Though i've been pulled over for having them on my car, he was actually an awesome cop. Just told me to change them from blue to a different color and i shouldn't have a problem. Of course then i went white and got pulled over (in a small town with a bored cop) "Well those look blue!" "thats funny another cop said to go ahead with a different color..." In any case, it depends on who you get. I think thats why they invented the Toggle Switch. Worked like a charm.

red and yellow are legit int he us - but some local laws can still ticket you for anything considered distracting.

Word, I got nailed twice by the same DPS trooper in Texas in one night, i told him I was going home and he said "I don't care it's still in violation" so I stopped in the middle of the road grabbed a pair of wirecutters and cut the wire then tapped it up and drove home. When I went to court, I only had to pay 1 of the tickets. The judge thought 2 tickets same night same offense was excessive.
