heres what i need to know.


fill in the blanks


long bolt goes on the ------------- side


short bolt goes on the ------------side


longer slider base goes on the clutch side and the other goes on the brake side. got a killer deal on them but no instructions and if i recall the short slider base uses the longer bolt ???

 

I do believe you have it correct. The longer bolt goes to the shorter side. I ran into the same problem when installing mine and I had the instructions. Well, you know, guy's never need instructions till.....

thanks grenteam, i just went out and put the shorter side on with the aluminum puck, im still waiting on my black nylon ones. tomarrow ill finish cutting the clutch side and bolt it all up.

 

if you dont have it right....switch it up....cuz i dont remember which way now

 

hey i got the instuctions when i get home i will type them on here. i got the vortex and they also say in the instuctions to get a certain puck for them too.

 

JUST CURIOUS AS TO WHAT THEY SAY. THANKS.

 

Install one slider at a time. the shorter slider base installs on the right side using the 100mm bolt. the longer slider base installs on the left side using the 80mm bolt. torue to factory suggested specs. next put on the slider pucks (sold seperately). we suggest using blue thread locking agent on puck bolts. check bolts periodically for tightness.

 

yup yup, i think i got it right. just need to finish up the clutch side plastic hacking and im good to go. thanks for posting that.

 

np hey do you have the no mod ones or did you get the mod required ones?

 

i have the ones you need to cut the plastics on. those no cut ones are crap in my honest opinion.
