Question K&N?

k&n help out a 2001 zx-6r at all or would that be a waste?

It is only a waste if you do not maintain that filter correctly. The oem filters are flowing well and the cost will add up if you change the filters often.

one good thing i like about k&n is there reuseable unlike the oem ones & they flow more air

Agreed, but even before I jetted mine the filter was nice to have.

IMO filter is a good investment as long as you have the proper jetting and an exhaust that will let the extra air have a place to go

indeed, breathing is good but only if you are tuned for the option
