install full exhaust on 05 636 q
question on an install of a full muzzy exhaust, is it pain in the ass to do for a 05 636?

RE: install full exhaust on 05 636 q
Yes, the undertail section can be a pain.

RE: install full exhaust on 05 636 q
I never had a problem with really ANY of the undertail exhaust kits. Its just time consuming. To me, installing the midpipe sucks. but other than that, its fairly easy.

RE: install full exhaust on 05 636 q
Only tough part is the room beween the rad and the header. Loosen up the rad and slide it forward abit.

RE: install full exhaust on 05 636 q
Simple stuff bro, move the radiator forward by taking off its bottom bolt and you can access the header bolts easy, also removal of the tail and bottomfairing is req..good luck!

RE: install full exhaust on 05 636 q
hey if you run into space problem might wana check out getting header wraps...because the closer the valves is to the bottome of the fairings your fairings might start to bubble alittle...something just to check into...
i think the hardest part is getting the can to fit under the taill!!!! 8O |
RE: install full exhaust on 05 636 q
yea thanks, one more thing i heard a couple people telling me that i would have to re-jet it, and even the shop i go to said it would cost my like $500 to get everything, do i need to do that? or is it just BS?

RE: install full exhaust on 05 636 q
add a power comander, 500 better include dyno runs and tuning along with a custom map. fully installed and they better detail your bike too.
|
RE: install full exhaust on 05 636 q
Just get a power commander, they probably already have a map for your setup online so no need to pay someone to tune your bike less effectively than what Dynojet offers for free.
