Default How low can you go?

I have been laying into some corners pretty good. I can't seem to get all the way down to the lip, hell I've even scuffed my riding boots. Has anyone scraped their foot pegs, or gotten to the lip or beyond? My bike is stock height, and i'm 195 lbs with gear on.

I scrape my peg once in a while. I still have a thin untouched strip on my tire. When i scrape its usually due to me taking a turn to fast and doing what i can to take it without wrecking. Other than that, i dont think i will ever push my bike hard enough to wear it to the edge. I have yet to take my bike to the track. My bike is stock height and i go about 230 geared up.(no fat jokes)

Remo, wow does that look clean without your rear pegs on. Is it just the 4 bolts holding them on? Is it easy to put them back on if someone wanted to ride with me?

gotrice, they are very easy to take off, put on. 2 bolts per side and they use a #6 allen wrench for the bolts. I swap them on and off all the time, for when I ride 2-up

I taken the tire to the edge. I like to turn hard. But I still have a chicken stripe in the front tire. I've tried as hard as I could to get rid of that. But I guess I'll have to take the bike to the track one day.

I still have the stripe too but, I think that is pretty hard to get rid of unless you ride like that all the time. scraped my peg and almost banged my knee on the pavement (not on purpose [sm=devilangel.gif] But I do go pretty low through the corners. My favorite part of a ride is twisties then a nice long straightaway

LMAO That was pretty funny, And I actually double checked my tires after I posted before and I found that they are worn to the lip so, I guess I do go pretty low most of the time.[sm=burnout.gif]

shon, your tire isnt as wide as the newer 636, so therefore it wouldnt be as hard to use it all up either
