Default How can i get more low end power?

I have a 2003 Ninja ZX-6RR, it has about 25k miles on it and doesn't smoke. I have a k&n on it, 14/40 chain and sprocket kit, full Muzzy exhaust system(cut 6" off exhaust can and it sounds awsome). I was wondering if a power commanderIII unit is as good as they claim to be? Should i just change to a bigger rear sprocket and re-map the bike?

P/C should make a difference. My experience has been with a 06 gsxr 600, and there was def. a noticable power increase, and that was before exhaust or filter.

I have around 21K on my 04 636 and it runs great for a 600 class bike but I feel I would be more at home on a 10r but I am 5'10 200lbs. Looks like a good reason to upgrade next year huh.

Oh yeah I have a Yosh CF Tri-Oval, PC, K&N. Now I just need to install my sprockets and stuff so I can see if it will satisfy me for a little while longer.

-1 front and +2 rear so 14-42 I guess. Dont remember I am too lazy to throw them on. I really need to get a speedo healer before I do it though.

Is your Yosh a full system and would you happen to have the map I have some dead spots with the Arrow map.

I'm very happy with my bike, i'm 5'10" and 135lbs. so this bike fits me really good. Right now i have a 14 tooth front spocket and a 40 tooth reat sprocket(stock size). I was thinking about going to a 42 tooth rear sprocket just to get that little extra low end power, but still have some topend speed. This bike really likes taking corners at fast speeds, it's so well balanced at stock height.

new sprockets, -1 +2. It is the best mod you will ever do to your bike, the low and mid range power will increase and you will have a very big smile on your face.
I would disagree with how much you will get out of the PC plus its like 300+ bucks and the sprockets will cost you under 100.00, best bang for your buck. Do it you will not be disapointed at all.
