HELP!! REMOVING FRONT/REAR SETS
It looks like your OK, just disconnect the brake "actuator" master cylinder deal with the pin, and the rear set should come off. As far as powder coating, I really don't know what kind of heat the seals, and crap inside can take.
ok! so i'm not unscrewing anyhting??? im just removing the pin from that hinge type thing??? because i wanted to get that powdercoated also... but i guess i can't get everything i want.. any tips on blacking out the master cylinder and the hinge??
Yeah, there is a cotter pin behind that pin; don't lose the little washer next to the cotter pin. You can just tape off everything and use some Hi-Temp gloss black paint (or whatever color)on the rear brake master cylinder.
you can just unscrew the entire rear set along with that hinge. the only thing sticking out of the master cylinder should be the threads of the bolt. just spin the rear set out like you would any other bolt
