GP style shifting
Congrats on the rearsets. Normally, all of the rearsets can be repositioned for a GP shift. It is usually the lower fairing may be modified (on the 10r) to accept the correct position of the lever for proper shifts.

Ok that cool, but how do you do it? Do i just turn the shifter over????

Yes, usually just the linkage at the sift shaft requires a 180 degree flip but you will have to get used to shifting that way. It's really for ground clearance between the riders boot and the track during extreme lean angles (Hence GP shift)and not necessary for street use or even trackdays. Most racers I know still use the conventional shift setup. Especially if you ride a lot of different or other peoples bikes; its a pain trying to remember which way to shift. One positive for street riders is that if someone tries to steal your bike it will be difficult to make a fast getaway or stall it. Alsoif you don't want others to ride your bike.
Its not just for ground clearance, its for shifting mid corner easily and having much more positive upshifts because you can really stomp down on the shifter. If you add a power commander and ignition module you can be at full lean under power and kick down on the shifter and keep going if everything is set up properly.
That's what I meant, about ground clearance; so you don't have to stick you boot below the shifter while leaned over in a LH turn. That's why they make rearsets when you need more clearance. Onour endurance bike some of the riders shift normally so they made a special adapter which you could swap between normal & GP shift in less than3 seconds.
