Default Going rate for full tune-up?

From what I hear I'm rather over-due for a full tune up. What would you guys say a good price for a full tune up would be and what does everyone consider a full tune up (AKA what kind of work should they be doing?)

Got a quote from a shop I go to for about $300. Valve adjustment, radiator flush, oil change, and checking tightness on all critical bolts.

doing all of the maintenance in 3 hrs for that price? Pretty good. However, think about it.....gasket included and still being able to complete the job for $300? I am just leary.

How many miles are on the bike? If it's less than 12K, all you need to do is change your oil, filter, check the air filter, check all hardware, lube & adjustyour cables & chain etc. Most of that stuff you can do your self. When I checked my valves, they didn't need adjustment but I adjusted some of themto get a bit more performance out of the bike.
