Of course none of us are riding for gas mileage. But what's everyone getting? I'm at about 150 miles per 4 gallons, so what's that, 37.5mpg I guess. Is that about right?

I got to push my bike up a hill today because I fumbled for the fuel tank valve, swapped to reserve on the side of the road and I guess reserve is towards the front of the tank...I was pointed uphill and nothin doin till I crested the hill. Don't ask me why I didn't just turn the bike around facing downhill.

 

your bike has a fuel reserve? what kind of bike are you talking about?

 

I'm talking about my ZX6R (as in the name of this subforum haha). If I'm not mistaken, every bike on the planet has one.

 

My 06 gets around 18 to 20 mpg I think, but I have never really checked it. Course, only time mine gets ridden is on the track.

 

18-20 is horabial on a bike my 06 gets between 38-45 mpg depending on how cold it is

 

his bike is still carbed and also has a petcock, on the newer bikes this is taken care off by the low fuel light

 

I get about 130 before the fuel light comes on. I used to get 150 before I modded it.

 

I get 160to 165miles from a full tank before the light comes on. Have gone as high as 190 miles before filling up but I was probably runningon fumes. My average has been 42 MPG on my 03.

 

'06 636 17km/L (47.9mile per imperial gallon) dropping to 10.4 km/L ( 29mpg) for trackdays.
