Hey guys im buying a either a 2001 zx-6r or a 2006 ninja 636. What kind of gas mileage do you guys get with normal driving around the city and highway driving?

 

Hmm, on my 05 636, I get between 35-40mpg or so. All depends on how hard I ride it and where I shift at. I also only weigh about 130, so it doesnt take much to get me goin. I can't see either one bein bad on gas, compare it to whatever car you drive. =P

 

do you like the older style in the 01? id go with something newer thats fuel injected; 03 or newer.

i have an 02 6r and get 35mpg on average. I usually hammer down from a stop so i know id get better mileage.

 

haha thats true i drive a H3 and i get 16 mpg. but my z4 gets round 28 mpg. i commute everyday to college about 30 miles a day.

 

im thinking in geting a 2004 636 i found for about 5,000.

 

Yea thats a good buy. for some reason i like the 03 636's the best. not sure why i think the frame is a little different.

h3 and z4? dam! ballin!!!

 

haha thx. the H3 is really my moms but she only drives one day a week. so i either drive the H3 or the z4. the z4 is horrible in rain and snow. i jsut got it. 2007 z4 3.0si coupe. i cant wait till i get the 636 tho.

 

my 04 636 i avg about 37ish mpg

 

I get 70+/- on my 250R[8D]

 

Average about 42 MPG on a 06 636.. Could probably get close to 50 but what's the fun in that??
