Default Extra horse at high speed?

Hey since speed is such a great topic lets see if anyone knows about this.

I read somewhere that the RamAir on the 05 636 is so functional that it adds extra horsepower at top speed. Since the horsepower measured on the dyno does not take this into account, unless you got a big *** fan, would the dyno be wrong?

Has anyone noticed/experienced this horsepower gain?

Would the wind resistance counteract the extra horsepower?

I wouldn't say that the dyno is wrong, just on the low side. Unless you can get enough air shoved down the intake of the bike, it will be hard to duplicate actual horsepower.
I know that when this beast starts to move up over 100+ it does pull very strong. As fas as the wind resistance goes, sure that's going to slow you down some, but if your tucked down under the windscreen and not sitting upright at full tilt, your not going to slow it down a whole lot.

Most dyno sheets I have seen say something like 100 horse.... My title said 126 when I got it registered, they factory may have taken the ram air effect into account... Wind won't slow the bikes down as much as other vehicles as long as you are tucked. That is one thing (weight aside) that makes the bikes so fast is their areodynamics

the riders postion on the bike make a big difference.. you can lose the equvilent of 10hp if your not tucked right
