i was looking for some smoke turn signals so u guys know if these are illegal to get them with clear bulbs thats the only ones they come with on ebay

 

theyre legal far as i know

Who caresIm pretty sure mine arent legal here, the cops have better things to do.

 

i live in a suburb of dallas tx and these guys are looking to meet quota all the time but i dont think i want to give them a reason to pull me over...i guess i could just buy amber bulbs for the turn signals right....

 

I dont think the ones off ebay are legal. I think they have to specificly say D.O.T. and have the dot number on them. Hardracing.com does sell some legal dot ones but they are a lot of money IMO.

 

Clear alternatives .......I got clear lenses with crome covered bulbs .I like em and they look great , at least I think so .I can't imagine being pulled over for something so simple as smoke turn sig covers but better safe than sorry .

 

If a cop pulls you over and says "hmm, those are the smoked european headlights, unacceptable!", I would be very surprised. Cops don't know **** generally about cars or motorcycles. I was pulled over and didn't have turn signals front or rear, no mirrors and no speedometer and no exhaust on and the cop was like "ok you seem to check out, maybe think about getting a new exhaust, it seems a little too loud." If an officer notices you have smoked turn signals, I will perform the berries and cream dance on you tube for everyone here.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to have signals...or mirrors in OH.
