the ones that go under your pants? I have seen a few and they seem like they would help some if you went down while messing around (stunting). or...they might be helpfull if you you "happen" to find a nice onramp and end up putting a knee down. It's a little more comportable than full leathers, but provides protection for another joint.

 

I have the ones made by icon and i really like them. i have their whole field armor set and i have to say i'm pretty impressed. way more comfortable than i thought they would be.

They are very protective, but a pain in the *** to put on, so I usually don't use them unless I plan on a long trip.

Yepper! All of it is amour.Since the top and bottom are hinged at the knee, your leg movements aren'tas strained either.

 

What kind of boot are you whereing with them?

 

I haven't tried them with my boots yet.I have a pair of SIDI B2's. I'm sure there would be some interference if I did wear the both of them. Generally, I either wear one of my pairs of icon jeans, or the Joe Rocket Stage-1 pants (which are padded in the knees and other areas.) with my SIDI's.

Like I said, I don't normally wear the Thor Knee guards.

I should invest in a set of those and maybe even some riding pants. Got leathers on order already buy for everyday riding, need something more casual. How much did you guyspay & where?
