Default crap, bikes going to the dealer

today i went on a ride, before i left i checked my milage and it was at 182 rode about 200 or so miles and came back, milage was at 185 !!! wtf ? a few weeks back i hadnt really payed attention to it but we did another 200 mile or so run and the following week after that about 80 miles. my od is at 185. should i take it in or let it be ?

If it were mine i would get it looked at. Never know if the whole thing is gonna go. Get checked while its under warrenty. JMO

Humm... wheres the speed sensor on those, the tranny?.... double check everything maybe just a loose conection.

yea I agree your cluster could be fudged and if it all goes out later you will be digging deep for a replacement.

if your cluster isnt working right, possible temp guage isnt working, oil light, etc.... just something to think about

somethings wrong with the cluster allright. stealer said its going to be a few weeks so i said call me when it comes in, ill gladley bring my bike back. also the tach wouldnt light up after 7000 rpm. and the guy said he had another one a few weeks back where nothing on the panel worked but the lights and the bike ran fine. the cluster lite but no numbers or display. just glad i didnt swap out the leds for another color yet or it would of been on my *** to pay for it.

Warranty is about all the stealership is good for, even then watch your arss.
I would say luck on the LED as well, they would have probably voided warranty and you my have thought it was the colored led that caused the problem with the cluster and that would have opened up a new can of worms.
