Hey guys. As some of you may know and most of you do not know, recently I put a deposit down on a 2008 250. It was supposed to be a training bike and then it would go to my pops.The main reason for this was because I had surgurey on my knee a month ago and I laid down the zx 2 months ago. To be honest I was a little scared to get back on and I had not been on the zx for over two months. But yesterday, I conquered my fears and tamed the wild beast. I established better control when riding, much thanks to the msf. So I was thinking, instead of getting a 250 for my dad (he already knows how to ride), why not give him a present and add a little to the overall price and buy him a 600. So I was just wondering about the price range of a 2007 zx 6r.Its a show room model and has been there for quite a while. I remember the salesman trying to sell the exact bike to me, but I decided to get a fresh oneput together in October. Soto the guys who actually took the time to read this, whatshould the price be?

I saw a used one for $5500 with 5000 miles on Craigslist in the DFW Area. It was like new! Wish I had the Cash

 

well that seems awfully high.I had a totally different number in my head...guess it was wishful thinking lol. So I don't know how that will bode...I don't really have that type of cash right now.
Maybe zzr600..thats a powerful bike..maybe not like the zx6, but it should be close. Anyone have an idea for the price of a 2007 zzr? The MSRP for it is $7,299 so I'm hopping it will be lower.
And I guess for all my zzr questions...I should direct it to the zzr section(obviously). But that all depends on its price...

thanks yoman. I took a look at those, oddly enough, right before I signed back on to the forums. Coincedence...you be the judge lol.well albany is about 170 miles away from where I live. I bet that would be an awesome ride though, but I'm thinking that I might just take a print out of the ebay page and present it to the dealer in my area. Maybe they will match it and if they don't, they don't. The floor model will stay on the floor for a few more months. But if they would sell it for $7000 flat, I think I'll go for it. And I'm sure that they will cancel the 250 contract b/c from what I'm hearing, many people are buying them for over $4000+ andi have it marked down to $3700 (I believe) with all charges included. So now I just have to wait for the weekend so I can drive backto NY (cause atschool in Pennsylvania right now) and take a trip to the dealer.
And just for my curiosity, what would the price be for a 2007 zzr?
