Default CluTch/GeArbOx Problem

I am curently on a stock ZX6R 2001 Model and I seem to be having gearing issues. The bike has 32500Km's on the clock and was serviced about 2000Km ago. The problem is that over the last couple of days the gear shift seems to be happening very hard and you really need to "kick" it in. I adjusted the clutch lever to have less play on it and the problem seems to be slightly better.
Can anyone offer advice? Any rough ideas on how long this bikes clutch should last before needed and servicing or repairs?

Check your chain tension and change your engine oil.

A bike will last between 100 miles and 50,000 miles depending on who rides it and how it's taking care of.
