Default Clean bike...

What do you all use to clean your bikes? I currently use Honda's spray polish every night before I park her on the paint, and the outer sides of the rear swing arm. With emphasis on the front to get the bugs off before they get hard. I use windex on the windscreen, headlights, and undertail. Also use 409 on the rims with a crap load of elbow grease to get the grime off the rear rim esp.

She shines like beautfully when I am done, does anybody use wax on theirs, if so how does it turn out and what kind? What do you all use on your rims. They are a bith to clean, and I have small hands even, and would like to find something that does a great job without the hassle.

Currently, I use Simple Green automotive wash on the whole bike and a small cloth. For some reason my bike doesn't get too dirty so a bit of elbow grease and I'm done. When I wax it, I use TurtleWax (I like the paste wax, last stuff I bought was their higher end wax - it smells nice )

I use chrome polish on the exhaust. That is pretty much it. I need to find something to make my seat look shiny, it is kind of dull looking compared to the rest of the bike.

I know how slippery armorall (I accidentally put it on the steering wheel of the car - not good!) I'd like to find something that would give the shine that armorall does but not the slip & slide to it

I use Spray Nine to clean my rims. Takes the dirt and grime off with very little work. You can get it at any supermarket or autoparts store. You can try leather cleaner and conditioner for your seat. It will not shine like armorall, but it will make the seat look better.

Thanks for that. I'll try it out!

for the most part, I wipe her down with just water and a chamois. When I have stuborn bugs, then I'll spray on some Plexxus and they come right off. The Plexxus is mainly used for my helmet and shield (bugs).
