tell the fat man to bring you a -1+2 combo.... and tell him to send me either a supercharger kit or nos... Yeah I know you don't see many superchargers on bikes, esp a 600. And that is why I want one.... That and when my insurance rep asks me if it has a turbo or nos I can say no and not be lying [sm=badbadbad.gif]

I've only seen a couple bikes with superchargers, a ton with turbos. THere isn't anything wrong with turbos, I just am a fan of supercharges better. THe power increase is linear, so you don't have that "snap" when the turbo kicks in. That and there are a couple of places dI have found that sell supercharges for bikes, but you have to do some of your own machining to get it to mate your bike. i.e. pulleys, mounting brackets... Which if you are like me you enjoy that kind of work... I think my rear sprocket is an alum. vortex and the front a joe sprockets. WHen I changed em (about an hour project) I about had an orgasm when I first took it out... I thought she was fast before, but now she is just wicked. If a litre bike has stock sprockets I can run with em, and depending on the rider and year of bike can beat alot of em. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to the way she handled. THe front tire is now my bitch. I love it.... You won't be disappointed with the upgrade, just be safe... They put alot of torque the ground, as I found out about two months ago now, that plus a cold tire/road can lead lead to trouble....

You guys are right. Its all about the feel of the bikes. All 600s are so close in performance from the factory that it really doesn't matter. I do have to say that the Kawi would probably have more WHP. Atleast the 636 does.

I just bought my 636 and one of the mechanics at the dealership said they put a stock 636 on a dyno ... 120-125 HP ... STOCK!!

The 2006 Yamaha r6 will come stock with 133HP when it comes out in Feb/March. That thing also redlines at 17500 RPMS! But everyone is going to want that bike so the market adjustment price is going to sky rocket!!! Some people are saying maybe between $1000-$1500 over MSRP ($9199-$9499) And that's before TTL. Too rich for my blood.
