I remember a few years ago, I had the opportunity to ride a (supposedly) race-prepped (full bodywork) Ducati 900ss. BEAUTIFUL bike. BEAUTIFUL sound. BEAUTIFUL handling. Would I want to OWN it?? Heck no. For some guys, the more ridiculously exotic you can go--the better. Not me. I ride an old, fat, ZX9 that I know and understand.....and can afford. It gets me around just dandy, and certainly as fast as I need to go. Give me an old ZX7 or 9 or 12 any day! BEAUTIFULLY simple and bullet-proof. Those days are gone.....
