Just make sure not to bake the frame, wheels, swingarm and suspension parts at too high of temperature because Aluminum gets brittle when overheated. Bake it at the minimum required temps; just barelyenough to bake on/ cure the paint.

yes, i powdercoated the chrome frame sliders, the powder stuck fine

sup_uni...maybe ask around the board and see if anyone works at pizza hut or a pizza place. pay him a few bucks to put your rims in their oven. we wont call you Kramer.

man that is a freat freakin idea to do your own powder coating. didnt know you could buy portable tools to do it. thanks for the thread.

that i dont know because i didnt have a chance to test it. i did mat black over the chrome so it turned out the same as it would on other pieces. but yeah you think that would be the case just like pant.

on the other hand though i know they sell candy colors so maybe you dont have to do anythning to prep the metal
