Default bike show in T.O.

i went to the bike show in toronto yesterday. there were a few nice custom choppers and that kinda thing. but i went to get the super duty camo icon jacket, the skulls mainframe icon helmet or some full leather gloves and almost EVERY booth i looked in was MORE expensive than at the shops around my area. what the hell??? i thought that the shows were to promote stuff and give a bit of a deal in the meantime. but i did get to sit on the new 636 and DAAAAMMNNN she's nice. i can't WAIT to get one. likely be a couple more seasons ridin old gerty lol, but i really want one.

I had the same experence going to the International Motorcycle show in San Jose California last month. $12.00 per ticket, $10.00 for parking, pouring rain, kind of a waste of time. I drove there in my truck with credit card in hand wanting to purchase a Motorcycle lift, helmet and one piece leather suit and left there empty handed. Handy lifts were a no show, kendon showed but there was no one there to talk to. All the other stuff I was looking for was at list price so I might as well wait for a local sale. [:@] The Kawasaki 636 they had on the floor had all the factory add ons installed but other than that it is the same as the 2005.

Best place to get deals is at the US Moto GP, have you purchased your tickets yet?

i would have LOVED to test the new 636 but i just got to sit on her the only pix i got from the show was of some choppers and close ups of some pretty sick paint. i'm goin to be picking up an airbrush in the next couple of weeks so i wanted to see how the pros did it. and DAMN are they good lol. all the sportbikes there were completely stock and boring. more dirtbikes and friggin scooters than there were sportbikes. i got a pic of me on a scooter for a laugh. i said i was gonna make it my next years christmas card lol.
