Good job for keeping it upright! I might have been flailing at that thing and wrecked for sure. When riding in the woods yesterday, I stopped and took my helmet off for a few minutes and felt something crawing up the side of my face by my ear and I knocked my own glasses off trying to swat it off - I know it was a friggin spider, they were all over and I hate the buggers. Took me about 5 minutes to find my glasses as I carefully scanned the woods floor - didn't want to crunch them under my MX boots, that would have made getting home interesting to say the least, lol.

At least you already had your helmet off when you felt a spider on your face. I hate the feeling that something else is in your helmet with you and crawling on your face![:'(]

Yeah that feeling sucks. I had a horsefly fly just right once to go right through my open visor into the cutout for my ear and be buzzin around in there. I couldn't get stopped quick enough to get that damb thing off.

I had a bee fly in and sting me on my cheek. No, not my butt cheek; it flew through the gap in the faceshield. I had another hit me on my neck and it felt like it was stuck in my collar, but I managed to unzip it without getting stung. It was the day I got the ticket.
