The ones for the 05-06 are just as low and further forward than the stock ones anddon't offer any risers. The 05-06's seating and riding positionsare more upright & comfortable than my 03-04. If you ride an 03-04, you'll be happy with the stock 05-06's. If you want to try a less expensive set, look on ebay for 50mm Clip-Ons. Rockwallhonda sell them for $80 pair on ebay.

lol your back will still be your back, forever. thats cool though to each his own. I just figured if your having back problems at 24 it may be more than just the bike.

wow, docs are high out there.

when i had my zx10 i met a guy with the same bike and he had the risers on it so i was able to compare them side by side and they felt good to me. they definetly take some of the agresive lean out of it. way more comfortable.

I had a herniated L5S1 Disc and had lower back surgery done back in '92and my back isokay now.Just can'tlift too heavy without pain/ further injury. It's all about body mechanics and being in shape. Upper body & abs. Legs matter also to support your upper body. Go see a chiropractor and get in shape. (I'm looking in my mirror as I say that! LOL)

Does anyone know if it's possible to place touring bars on a ZX6R somehow? Or do they make a special clipon that mirrors a touring style bar like the Z1000 or something? I love my 1999 zx6r, but I travel alot on it and need a more upright position, and 7/8 of an inch will not do it. The Bike was dirt cheap and in showroom condition. Hate to get rid of it. Lemme know....?
