Default Any other Fatasses ride?

Got your attention didn't it?

Anyways, i'm about 5'9" 240 and i currently ride an 03 kanatuna 600 and wanting something faster, but since this will mostly be used to commute and the occasional track day. my question is IS THIS BIKE COMFORTABLE???? the katana is very comfy for me when i'm just putting around town but i need something comfortable for my fatass. Yes i understand the SS bikes are not going to be very comfortable but i mean i don't want for my back to hurt after a 30-45 minute ride. How is the regular riding stance

Thanks
Tim

The 05-06 636's are surprizingly comfortable unlike the 03-04 636's. The pegs are farther forward and the bars are closer on the 05-06's. They also have more power than other 600's.

Yeah my 03 636 SUCKS!!! I did do the seat shaving (thanks for the DIY speed) and that has helped a ton. Even though it sucks I used to be able to go 1hr-1 1/2 hr straight before my back would kill. After the seat shave I can go 2+ hrs.

I'm a big guy and I love my 04 636. I've done 400ish miles in one day and was fine. I like the 636 because the bike felt biger then all the other bikes. The last thing I wanted to do was get a cbr600rr and look like a circus bear riding a bicycle.

I'm 6'2" 225-230 and don't have issues on my 06 zx6r. I perfer to ride my 650 as it is far more comfy, but on the track the 6r is just fine. Then again, I wouldn't consider myself fat at all. I only have a 34" waist.

If you are in shape you will be able to ride longer with out any problems. If your just over weight you might get a little stiff after a longer ride. 2 hrs is about it for me any more and my a$$ is killing me. I have not done the seat mod yet though.
