anyone know the output of an 06 6r's generator? watts or amps

couldn't find it in the service manual.

edit: the manual IS for an 05/06...this should be your number, sir. 1-11 under gen specs.. not sure what model you have exactly tho...

was just looking at heated vests/jackets... yea feel free to call me a wuss. one of the sites talks about the units not working very well unless the bike has a 400 watt generator in it. looks like i'm at 315w @ 5000. i'm sure i could get away with just a vest!

 

The alternator voltage outputbefore it get to the voltage regulator is up to 42 volts!! If you can get a differentregulator to work (Maybe an R1 due to their 4 headlights) you'll have plenty of wattage.
