yes the is a power gain, especially with the pciii. try calling krtuned directly they might just sell the header, or there was a post on here awhile ago about ripping out the cat system witch would have the same effect as the header

u can gain more power with a aftermarket header but u can also just gut the cat and have a free flowing header and save your $$$ and just get a slipon and get the biike tuned and probly make the same amount of power as the full system

the cat is right before the mid pipe meats the header, youll see it. and you can ger it powder coated or chromed, then the chrome will turn prettier colors than the stock color

Yes, gut the cat and you can get the header ceramic coated in Arlington. It will give you more power and keep the under fairing temps lower too.

The Ceramic coating looks like polished aluminum. Chroming won't make the temps go down. Best bet is to get another stock 05-06 header and gut it or find an aftermarket header that will work with your slip-On. I have a sparestock one. Call me or email me. I can take it down to the Ceramic Coater also. I know him.

ceramic coating is awesome. on my trans am i had ceramic coated inside and out full length headers, underhood temps were Noticeably lower and they were cool enough to touch after about10-15 minutes. im sure they are equally or even better on a bike!!
