Mine also is a bit knotchy from 1st to 2nd too. Hoping some synthetic oil will cure that. Also afbound..I will make it to ***** island one day!....[sm=icon_rock.gif]

 

'05 636 here. I think its officially decided, leaking fuel is NOT normal. You should probably have that checked out.

Mine makes quite a bit of noise going between 1st and 2nd though too, is the noise you're talking about just clicking into gear noise, or something more then that?

that does seem pretty strange for fuel to actually come out the top unless there is some sort of hose going down into the fuel tank and the pressure build up inside the tank from it getting hot and vaporizing some of the gasoline is forcing fuel out.

i know when my tank is close to full an i go for a ride it will his from pressure leaking out through the key slot. but no liquid.

 

i put the vortex race cap on and it leaks water out the side after i wash it.

 

Yep, just a clicking noice that's annoying no matter how smooth I clutch. Usually go easy from 1st -2nd most of the time then go go go!

 

Sure you can go too. But there's bigger ****** on the island we have to answer to first. We still low on the todem pole! Probably have to wash there bikes and gather fire wood....

 

oh well... lets just goto a small ***** island... then all the really big ****** will leave us alone...

For the gas cap issue I would get new gasket and go with the vortex cap.

 

THE REASON GAS IS DRIPPING OUT IS , THE BIKE MUST HAVE BEEN OVERFILLED WITH GAS AT ONE POINT OR ANOTHER CAUSING YOURE CHARCOAL CANISTER TO FILL WITH GAS AND NOW THE CHARCOAL CANISTER WONT VENT TO ATMOSPHERE,MEANING THE CANISTER IS NOW BAD, THIS CAUSES THE TANK TO BUILD TOO MUCH PRESSURE AND DRIBBLE GAS ON YOU. YOU NEED TO REMOVE YOUR SMOG JUNK NOW OR BUY A NEW CHARCOAL CAN.
