2003 Kawasaki ZX-6R 636
Hello all,
Just went down on my 636. Got it out of tow lot finally. They dropped it off at the casa and I'm starting to do some work on it. Looks so far only cosmetic damage.
I'm just trying to start it and the battery still works and when I turn it on the speedo goes through it's thing and fuel pump primes. Unfortunately it won't start. Tried to change the gears but the rearset is broke so I'm only pulling the rod. Won't go anywhere with clutch pulled in. Tried rolling a couple feet back and forth and attempted to change gears, won't budge. Tried starting the bike with kickstand up and clutch pulled in, no cigar.
I don't know if the tow guys tried hand adjusting the gears without clutch pulled in and broke something. I sure hope not.
I'm hoping I can bypass the kickstand sensor and it will start. All I want is to hear it run before I start digging into it.
Bless,
Marcel

bummer on the off.
With the kickstand up, that does not mean that the switch is working or not. The tip over sensor may also need to be checked. (most likely the issue if the bar controls are not fubared)
