hey i just boughtan 02 zx6r but im kinda confused on what size engine it has. Is it a 600 or 636? i looked at the sticker on the frame and it says its a 600 j model and in was built 9/01. The title says its an 02 and the vin matches on the frame and engine. Some one please help me...... thank .

 

sounds like a 600cc to me but i'm new to this gig.

 

600. the 636 started in '03.

 

Unless it's a European model; they came out with the 636 engine in 02. If you bought it in the US, it's probably a 600.
