I'm also -1 and +3 on my 03 636 and at about 80 my rpm's are at about 7000 but bike tach's out at 15500 so it don't even feel like a high rev. it's awsome combo if your a street rider who likes to fool around once in a while!
i have the -1+2 and thats what my bike is runnin at that mph & rpm, how do u like it man

-1+2 on a 06 zx6r. It is fine for around town and freeway stuff. Only time it maybe annoying is long distance freeway but who the hell wants to do that on a sport bike anyways.
Are you dissin Sportbikes? JK.Who say you can't tour on them? I just got back from Missouri with my wife 3 weeks ago on my 03 636. It wasn't very comfortable but not too bad. Heck, my first ride on my 03 was from Minnesota to Texas. My biggest complaint was the seat was too hard and our (my wife & mine) buts were sore from sitting too long on the freeway. We rode through Arkansas on Hwy 23 and no problems.

As far as gearing: mine is stock 15-39 and I am doing 82 Mph at 7000 Rpm.
