I know there was a thread about modding a stock muffler before but I cant find it. Anyone have some ideas suggestions for modding the stock muffler? I bought an extra one on ebay for 1$ and want to gut it out. Is this possible without losing low end?

 

If you keep the stock exhaust valve, you should be able to keep most of your low and mid-range power and gain top-end power. Take and post pictures in the How-To section. Also, don't forget to do the ECU jumper mod.

 

I had a thread about doing it on a 06 a couple years ago. I just cut it open, gut it and rewelded it. It sounds great and did give some low to mid range gains
