Exclamation 07 zx6r comparable to 07 gsxr750....

i want to do stunting with my 07 zx6r, once i learn how to of coarse... i have heard the gsxr750 is the best bike for that power wise...

- i cant even get the front wheel off the the gound with my zx6r

- i used to get the wheel up easy in my 06 cbr600rr (R.I.P.). it had more power.

my question is what upgrades can i do to make my bike perform (power wise) like the gsxr750???

will this make my bike a wheelie machine like i want??

Thanks

the 07 doesn't have a ton of bottom end power. these sprockets will help alot with that. my bike is stock and i can wheelie it quite easily. i just get up to about 30mph, give it gas and dump the clutch. try that, it'll stand up. be careful and cover your rear brake. don't forget to wear riding gear. my cousin has an 03 gsxr 750 that was previously stunted. it's a good strong bike. but if you watch, the majority of stunters (real stunters) ride 600's. www.stuntlife.com is a great place to do some reading about bike setups and that kind of thing. personally, i would buy a crunchy 636 to stunt and keep your 07 for the street. the cbr f4i is also a popular stunt bike.

I was out all day practicing yesterday to try and do a roll wheelie.... it is not possible with stock gearing i guess... maybe i way too much. 190lb.

i got the wheel off the ground slipping the clutch, but i can only get it up about 6 inches.

- hopefully this vortex chain/sprocket upgrade kit will do the trick.

thanks for the help.

lol my friend has a 06 cbr 600rr and he can barly get the front up... BUT that doesnt mean its the bike... i have a 1998 ninja zx6E with about 98 hp... i can wheelie all day no problem... the zx6r might not have alot of low end but it has plenty of enough to get it up... just keep trying...

are you just trying to do power wheelies or what? I was able to clutch up my 500R 3-4" a couple times on accident. You should def. be able to clutch up a 07 easily. You could always get aftermarket sprockets...but the power is def. there, you just need to know how to use it.

i'm 180lbs and if i shift like i stole my bike she'll wheelie 4-5" in the first 4 gears. it's all in the technique my friend. that bike will toss you off like a fat chick while your plowin her and she hears a can of spam open. keep practicing and watch the videos on youtube on how to wheelie. the best one i found was the one by superbike magazine i think. check the stunter section on this forum. there's some good info there.

ive got an 08 zx6r an i can pick it up with no problem in 1st and 2nd. it just depends on how fast your goin and how far you want the front to come up. practice in an open place at a lower rpm and gradualy increase untill you get comfortable. from a slow roll i can bring it up easily at about 5k, the faster your goin the higher the rpm will have to be also. but ive also got a bit done to my bike... but it should be about the same at lower speeds in 1st gear. diff sprockets will deffinatly make it easier but i would start with how it is now and get comfortable, ive still got the stock spockets in mine also
