07 ZX6
Went to the LA bike show last weekend and sat on the '07 ZX6. Felt great - I'm used to the weight of my 636, but I couldn't believe how light that bike felt. Unfortunately, you could only demo ride the '06 6's. Still not sure how they're gonna do an eliminator kit, 'cuz the tail light is under the exhaust. Good looking bike - still want to ride it.
The 636's were/ are great especially for the street but it didn't make any sense to have a model just 37 cc's bigger. They should have made it a 750 and I hope they do. Just imagine our ZX6R's with a 750 motor and about 140 HP. Now that's a bike!

Thank you, I however did not mention anything like 140hp though.
They probably got over competing against themselves. When I was shopping around for my 636 I asked about a 6RR. The salesman at one shop told me he would have to special order it, others just waved their hands over the 636 like the Jedi mind trick("the 6RR is not the bike your looking for") . All the dealerships were pushing the 636s'. I can only assume they had better mark-up.
Actually the ZX6RR cost more and also in limited numbers. The dealers probably had only a small number allocated to them and they would rather sell what's in the showroom than order another from Kawasaki.
