Just wondering if anyone with a 05 or 06 636 or 6RR has any probs with the clutch when accelerating hard off the line? I have an 06 6RR just around 1,000 miles on it. When I get on the throttle hard in first gear, around 6,000 rpms the bike seems to bog slightly, as if the clutch were slipping, then around 8 or 9k it feels as though it has full power and shifting into 2nd, 3rd and 4th I notice no lagging or lack of power at all. Any help/info would be greatly appreciated.

Just a thought I believe that your owner's manual tells you about a break in period and not to go over 6000 rpm's or something like that,
point is that if you take the bike back into the dealer for this issue DO NOT tell them you went over the rpm's during the break-in period.

I do not have a 636 so I can not tell you how mine is, hang in there some one will answer you there are a lot of 636 owners here.

 

i think the clutch sucks *** on the 06 636. its to soft and fades fast.
