Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the guage pod on an 05 zx6r. I really hate the digital tachometer. I would like to get the guage pod from a 2009 zx6r and put that in, but I dont know if its possible. Any infomation or help would be great. On another note, does anyone have a phone number for motowerkz? I have been trying to get ahold of them by email for about a month, I purchased a plate bracket which has never been delivered, and also they sent me an undertail kit that was about 1.5"-2" to narrow at the bolt holes for the undertail.

 

You will need wiring diagrams from both bikes and match up the signal wires to the 09 speedo accordingly. The connectors are different so you will need the connector with some wires from a damaged 09 harness.

back to original topic, it would be easiest to swap to a 07 zx10r if you like the analog tach, closest plug and wires. on the flip side i do a mean color conversion that makes it fit in with the bike 100 tiems better

How do you do a color conversion on the tach? Can you do any color? Got a picture of a standard tach, and converted one? Sort of like a before and after thing.
