Haven't had a chance to ride the 05 that much but right off the bat, it's way more comfortable. The 05 Feels more stable whereas my 03 wants to lean into turns. The 03 makes me feel like I'm ready to race! I would like to ride the 05 more and might ride it to work tomorrow. It feels more torquey and sleeker (which is the way it was designed to feel) and I bet it's faster on the top-end because of the aerodynamics and the extra power from the secondary injectors and larger valves & cylinder head etc. My 03 has the Race Kit ECU, cams and it's pretty fast also. Before my top speed was 163 (Indicated) and after the cams & kit ECU, it was 171 (Indicated) on the 03.

I rode it to work last night and it felt great! More comfortable, powerful and faster than my 03. Felt faster anyway. I love the way it handled; felt easier to go fast on than the 03. Hmmm, maybe I'll sell the 03 and keep this.

gsims, your bikes color is Passion Red\\; same as my 03 color. Nothing wrong with a bike that can and does double duty! Heck, I once rode my old 85 ZX600 to the track (50 miles), removed the lights, mirrors and license plate then raced it. Put everything back after and rode it home! How’s that for double duty!?&lt\\;br&gt\\;

'05's came in another red/orange other than magma - it's got the "gold" base layer with a little metal flake - just wanna make sure in case I have to replace street parts...

Damn, that's just friggin manly! You must've been spent by the time you got home.

I didn't know the 05's came in 2 shades of red. The bodywork I got was from Canada but I have 2 more tanks that are the same color. What was the name of the other color Red?
