Just went home from college and had a cd waiting for me... Kawasaki 2003-2004 ZX6RR 636 service manuel is here... It is 148 MB though... which is about ten times too large to email through my yahoo email account... Any ideas on how I can get it to you?

I would have my buddy seed it on a tourrent site, but I forgot to... and I can't do that through my college's internet or they get angry... I'm good enough with computers to know there is another way to do it, just not good enough to know what that way is...

Close, but no cigar Speed... (I think this is the first time I've ever seen you wrong...) I didn't zip it, but I did run it through Winace (which compresses further than ziping it would) and it only took it from 148 MB to 141 MB... not that much... and still WAY too big to attach in an email... I'll host it on mediafire as soon as I get home (at most two weekends from now) and I'll post the site to download it here.

Don't worry, the wait is ALMOST over......

What about a gmail account?
You can send a crapload through there.

Also I could use a copy of the race manual for an 03 636

Thanks

Sorry; I know bikes but not computers. Okay, I'll "Zip It" my computer advice that is. Although I was able to compress and send a race kit manual to cyclepro. I think I zipped or compressed it.

good news... now that it's the weekend and everyone went home from college, my dorm room has enough bandwidth to host it on mediafire...

http://www.mediafire.com/?inmwbz11iaz
and
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?z1hye24ec9j

You'll need a program called WinAce or WinRar or something similar to those two to uncompress it. It is also saved in two albums. Just uncompress (extract) the file called WinAce and it should automatically spit out you're pdf file for the service manual... any problems or questions feel free to let me know...

Jacked, I also posted a Manuals thread that may help. Thanks for the help although I have not checked out your links.

Dragone, where did you post that manual? Jacked, I can't seem to download the manuals. Both of those files have the WinAce programs. Am I doing something wrong?

those are not the winace programs... for some reason it renamed the files from "kawasaki 03-04 ninja zx6r zx6rr service manuel" to "WinAce"... I don't know why it did that... but that is the actual manuel. just under a different name...

go to http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
and download winrar v 3.71 (should be free, if not it I believe it will work as a trail version or something like that...)
or http://www.winace.com/ click on downloads, under WinAce 2.69 click on mirror 1 and then trial version...

after that program is installed and computer is restarted you should be able to right-click on the first file (the 100MB one, but make sure the 41MB one is on your desktop also) and one of the options should be "extract here" click that. It should automatically create a new file (a pdf file) that contains the manuel...

lemme know if that worked for you... I'll also have one of my buddies try it to make sure I did everything right... this is my first time using both mediafire and winace for album compressions, but it still should work... sorry for the bugs but keep me updated... <3

***Edit: just had my buddy take a look at those links, and using winrar he extracted the pdf file just fine, no problems... so it will def work with either winace or winrar...***
