WOW that looks awesome. Im thininking of doing some polishing on my '02, id also appreciate a short write up cause ive found 20 different methods. I was thinking of stripping the parts then using sandpapper 400-2000 grit (palm sander for the first steps?) then using the three different colors of polish brown tripoli, red rouge, then white rouge (dremmel with a buffing wheel?). I think im gonna practice on something b4 i start takin parts of the bike.

hold off before you start, cause i only use a 120-400 grit, going over that is useless (as long as you have the correct tools) because emery compound on a sisal wheel will remove alot of casting marks and emery is 400 grit. so it's doing the same thing over if you go up to 2000 grit, then use a compound that goes back to 400, know what i mean?

i'll try to get the write up done this weekend

you'll need a bench polisher for all the stuff you can pick up, and either about a $400 motor and flexshaft or a air powered die grinder with a speed control. then the consumables to do a single bike will cost about $50
