Default "Buzzer" sound at 10,000 RPM?

All,

My break-in period is finally over and just started javing fun over the weekend.

When the bike hits precisely 10,000RPM it makes what sound like a buzzer sound ... it goes for as long as it stays at that level. If I go past it I can hear it for a second and then goes away. When reving down from avobe 10,000 it will do it when is passes by 10,000.

It sounds like an electric "buzzer"; like the 24 second violation one in basketball. It is not that loud, but it is clearly noticeable.

I don't feel a glitch in power delivery and actually use it to alert myself on where I'm at in the tachometer, but would like to know if ayone has experience it.

Thanks.

I was thinking it may be two metal pieces vibrating against each other and "resonating" at that RPM = certain vibration level. Could it be the signal to the valve in the exaust?

Any comments are highly appreciated.

Rgds.

I've got the same vibe, try pushing down on the clutch lever pivot point when you hear the vibe, it should go away. Nothing's wrong with it so I left it as is.

its the abusive rider eject warning. i tapped the redline and have not heard this mysterious buzzer. i did have a bee smack my faceshield while i was doing 90 but it was more of a "pop" then a buzz

Mine does the same thing. I'm not quite sure what RPM it's at, but like Green_05_636 said it was my clutch lever. So now I just put my fingers on it to stop the buzz.
