I have a 1991 ZX1100 with the stock seat. I recently purchased a Corbin Gunfighter & Lady seat off of Ebay with the intent of adding a backrest for the passenger. Unfortunatelt the seat I bought is too old or something becuase I looked it over and saw no place to mount a backrest. I called Corbin and they told me it had to have a leather flap that was velcroed down and under that flap should be a hole for the backrest support. They also said it should have either studs protruding or holes drilled on the underside for the mounting plate the backrest slides into. My seat does not have either one. Now I am trying to find an aftermarket backrest that will bolt on using the existing seat. Anyone know where I might find one? I am also looking to sell this Corbin seat if interested. Should fit a 1990-1993 ZX1100. Make me an offer, I paid 169.00
